Rod Risner

Rod Risner brings a passion for income protection and nearly a decade of experience supporting financial advisors across Michigan and northern Ohio. He began his career with Guardian as a Disability Income Specialist and Life Brokerage Manager, where he earned recognition as a consistent qualifier for both the company’s Advanced Disability Meeting and Leader’s Club.

Rod is dedicated to helping advisors grow their practices by providing thoughtful case design, strategic sales support, point-of-sale collaboration, and assistance identifying and addressing client risk. His hands-on approach and deep understanding of income protection allow him to serve as a trusted resource to advisors navigating complex planning scenarios.

As a United States Marine Corps veteran, Rod embodies the values of honor, courage, and commitment. He brings discipline, responsiveness, and integrity to every interaction, with a clear focus on delivering reliable support and meaningful outcomes for the advisors and clients he serves.

Rod resides with his wife, Elizabeth, and their daughter, Marlo.
